Dubai Police has rolled out the latest addition to its fleet of tourist patrol vehicles. Which is the Lucid Air Grand Touring, a fully electric luxury car, fully livery with the Dubai Police insignia. Many important personalities were present at the handover ceremony at the Dubai Police Officers Club.
The list includes:
- Dubai Police’s Chief
- His Excellency Lieutenant General Abdulla Khalifa Al Marri
- Mr. Faisal Sultan, Vice President and Managing Director Middle East at Lucid
- Major General Expert Khalil Ibrahim Al Mansouri
- Assistant Commandant for Criminal Investigation Affairs
- Major General Abdullah Ali Al Ghaithi
- Assistant Commandant for Operations Affairs
- Brigadier Ali Khalfan Al Mansouri
- Director of the General Department of Community Happiness
- Brigadier Harib Al Shamsi
- Director of the General Department of Criminal Investigations and many others.
Here, the vehicle was officially handed over.
Lt. Gen. Al Marri stressed that the initiative is a manifestation of Dubai Police’s dedication to the green economy targets of the UAE. It is in compliance with the Dubai Quality of Life Strategy 2033. Through the integration of advanced technologies that are eco-friendly.
“Our primary devotion to this program is the reduction of carbon emissions, through the use of clean energy in our routine.” He mentioned.
He added that the electric, eco-friendly, and sustainable Lucid Air Grand Touring are the latest addition to the fleet. It continues the electric patrol fleet of the Tourist Police Department. This will not only augment police presence in tourist areas and community events. But also, it will renew Dubai Police’s bond with the public.
Faisal Sultan said that Lucid is very proud of its role in the Dubai Police electrification campaign. “We are looking to expand our presence in Dubai after setting up our first retail studio in City Walk,” he said.
The partnership is the confluence of Qatar’s technological advancements at Lucid. It is for the futuristic vision of Dubai Police. Under this agreement, Lucid Air Grand Touring will be added to the Dubai Police fleet. Therefore, highlighting the dedication of the police to the community, mobility, and beyond.
